Henry Kinder - Director, Producer
Growing up in Berkeley, CA, Henry developed a passion for exploring the natural world. After migrating east to study film and writing at Wesleyan University, Henry has since relocated to Brooklyn, NY to pursue producing work on commercials for progressive causes (the Sunrise Movement, Be a Hero, Reform LA Jails) and feature documentaries for Vice on HBO like 'Panic: The Untold Story of the 2008 Financial Crisis' and 'The Future of Work.' He has also fostered a personal creative practice, directing short films and music videos for independent musicians. Henry is a member of Filmshop, a Brooklyn based filmmakers collective.
Albert Tholen - Producer
Albert is a founding member of New York City based production company Good Baby Films, where he works as a producer, director, and editor. Most recently, he produced THE RAT by writer-director Carlen May-Mann, which premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. He has also produced and directed photography for a feature-length concert film, BRMWWV, of Jason Moran and Suga Dairo’s improvised piano “battle,” and produced and co-directed Ryuichi Sakamoto’s ENERGY FLOW. Currently, Albert’s in post- production for a 16mm short film he produced which was a semifinalist for the Roy W. Dean Film Grant. Albert graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wesleyan University with a BA in Film Studies and is a 2017 alumnus of Sony Pictures Classic’s IFP Marcie Bloom Fellowship in Film.
Sam Wolff - Cinematographer
Sam is a photographer and cinematographer raised in Arizona and based in New York. His editorial work considers our relationship with land, and how it can shape relationships between each other.
César Martinez Barba - Editor
César Martínez is a Brooklyn based documentary filmmaker and videographer. He is a graduate of Occidental College, with an Honors B.A. in Media Arts and Culture. Cesar’s work has been recognized by multiple leading filmmaking institutions: he was selected as a 2018 NeXt Doc Fellow, and is the 2018 Fall Social Justice Filmmaker Fellow in the Creative Culture program at the Jacob Burns Film Center. He is also a member of the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective and served as the Leonhardt Cassullo Video Fellow at Creative Time.
Lila Engelbrecht - Sound Recordist
Lila Engelbrecht is a Brooklyn based sound recordist and photographer. She received her BA from Wesleyan University in 2017 and graduated from the Documentary Practice and Visual Storytelling program at the International Center of Photography in 2019.
Nick Bruckman - Executive Producer
Nicholas Bruckman is a New York based director and producer. He has directed commercial work for clients including Facebook, Verizon, Dropbox, and the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs. He directed the feature documentary La Americana, which broadcast on networks including PBS, Nat Geo, and Al Jazeera. He produced the narrative feature film Valley of Saints, which won the audience award at the Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for an Independent Spirit award. He is the founder of People's Television, a New York and D.C. based branded & original content company.
